Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

I think I may have just been able to secure a Xbox 360 TE stick from a highstreet store.

One of the guys I spoke to said I should definatly have one and to make sure I asked someone else who put the pre-order through for me! Apparantly not all of their stores are getting them in but the one I visited did.

Still I'm a bit sceptical but I will get there early on release day to give me the best chance of getting mine. :p

Can anyone else who may have done the same tell me what it says on your receipt? Mine says 'NRR 360STREETF' which seems to suggest to me I've only pre-ordered the game, although I believe the clue maybe in the NRR bit which I have no idea what it stands for. I did ask for the TE stick and not the game but I just can't believe I managed to secure one so easily. :p

A great article on the how the sticks went from an idea to the final product. Also including art templates and links to reviews on other sites.

Check out some of these mocked up designs. This stick is awesome.

Anyone had any info at all yet about the status of their TE FightStick order(s) ?

GameStop in the States have been shipping theirs out from what I've read on another forum.

I do like the look of the arcade sticks but I'm as useless as a tit in a trance with one.:(
So am I :( I've still got the blisters from the last session. Unfortunately there are some moves which are basically impossible on a pad, and if you want to be competent in an actual arcade you're better off mastering the 'stick.

ffs, need more info on the arcade sticks, are the new ones even in stock yet?

im not playing the game without the stick, playing with the 360 controller is a joke.

a review ive just read says that the game is fairly generous with the controls, so you can still execute moves even if you dont nail the button combo. should help with the d pad worries that xbox users have.

was playing the demo of SFII hyper fighting last night and could still pull off all the moves with Ryu using the dpad :D

But looking at the training challenges its heavily based on tight timing to get combos off...

ps3ud0

SF2 specials and easy to pull off compared to SF4's Ultras, Supers and EX Specials. Check out the moves for Zangief and Balrog ;)

e.g Zangief's 'Ultimate Atomic Buster' is a twice rotation of the stick/pad and H, M, and L pressed together. Try pulling that off on a standard 360 pad
