Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Hmm? MKX is much better than SFV, just check out the reviews if you want impartial opinions.

Reviews would point you in the direction of mk x but I think that's only down to the content , I think gameplay wise sfv is the better more competitive fighter , but if it's casual your after and you enjoy trying different fighters out then Mk x is probably the one for you :)

MKX wins in content, tutorials, netcode and it's more exciting to watch.
It just doesn't have the ££ behind it like Capc..... Sony, put into SFV.
Watch Mortal Kombat Cup and ESL, the games are good. (3 Free UK qualifiers for MK Cup this year for any of you who play it!)

MKX is currently the better competitive game too. That may not be true in the far future but it definitely is at the moment.

I find them tricky enough!

My hands feel bloody arthritic holding the PS4 pad. I'm only 31! I seem to lack the dexterity to use the shoulder buttons in combination with the face buttons. I spent 20 minutes doing the Laura trials. I got to Stage 7 and found it really difficult to get the timing down. Couldn't get the CA out quick enough following LP clap. Couldn't get the cr mp xx mp bolt > kick following the V-Trigger. On the final one my fingers about seized up so I gave it a break!

/edit: to be honest, these combos seem much less effective and more difficult than the cr hp xx ex clap ... combos that cross under etc. They are, however, teaching me some V-Trigger combos but hitting HP+HK at the same time is problematic - thinking of keeping triple punch on L2, hard punch L1, HK, R1, but then HP+HK on R2 rather than all kicks. But that might make executing EX command harder...

I must be really bad on this as i find the trials quite tricky, some of them anyway ! went on earlier , managed 7/10 with dhalsim , and about 3/4 with bison who I normally main with haha then managed like 8 with Mika, I nearly had the 9th pinned down and didn't try the 10th , think I'm going to start using her or Alex see who I prefer , Mika is great fun to use though !

after the patch online still a pos, crapcom can suck it.

I've not had any issues at all, except 2 ranked games that disconnected as soon as I won (not ragequit) and very rarely, lag (which I blamed on the other player :p).

I only find them easy because I've spent 100s of hours on SF4.
Keep at them. Even if you give up after trying some more, you'll probably try again in a month and suddenly find you can do 90% of what's left (assuming you learn and do combos on the character you normally play with).
