I always thought the first season felt like a British TV show, clever and slower moving and then the rest of the seasons were very much an American TV show, albeit a well done one which I still thoroughly enjoy (and just remembered Tywin Lannister was the bad guy!).
I liked the last episode as a finale but there were more than one occasion during the season when it just didn't feel the same, i even cringed a few times.

My mate has been raving about this and told me that I'd also love it. So I watch a few episodes of S1 and a few of the latest season and it's all a load of utter pap. My mate also recommended "Our Girl" and while S1 was OK, S2 onwards with Michelle Keegan was, again, utter tripe.
My mate has now stopped recommending TV shows to me![]()
Really couldn't get into the latest season, probably just missing the old leads but felt overly cheesy & even more OTT than the older ones -
No one watching the current season? Loving it so far, providing you class it as guilty pleasure and don't scrutinize the plot too much. Pew, pew and decent set locations as always
