Every time I bend a string the bridge dips in and whacks the other strings out of tune so I cant use double bends, it also means I gotta bend more.

Any way of fixing this? I have more springs that came with my strat, but I would like to keep the bridge floating.

I'm unsure what your actual concern is, on any floating bridge bending will always move the bridge causing the other strings to go out of tune but a decent trem should go straight back into tune once the bend has been released.

If its that once you have done a bend that the guitar goes out of tune then either get hold of a better set of tuning pegs.

if you decide to tighten up or add springs to the trem you may need to up your string gauge to keep the action correct.

How many springs have you got holding the trem into the back of the body? If you only have 2 then you may need to add another.

I had 3 springs, but I've added the other two now. seems a lot better but its a bit too stiff now. I think ill have to look into different spring sizes/configurations.

5 springs seem excessive unless your tuned to standard tuning with 13+ gauge strings (on which case id worry about the neck)

Id advise taking it to your local guitar shop and getting it set up by a pro its never that much but if its a half decent shop it will be well worth the price.
