Check out his workout video here - See the way he 'jumps' when he's doing those shoulder presses!? I always thought that would be considered bad form, buy look at the size of that dude!

He's training for push press. And that's totally legal in strongman competitions.

The jumps are just him using his momentum, he isn't lifting more weight than he can handle so it isn't dangerous or bad form. It helps when lifting higher weights - just watch olympic lifters jumping/jerking and a host of other stuff.
The problem is for most normal people who aren't experienced this type of movement might mean we are lifting more than we can handle and we could injure ourselves.

He did get kicked out of one comp for drugs, which is ironic since they are all juiced.

I think I read he takes a shed load of recreational drugs and leaves syringes around in hotel rooms and was getting bad press from it so they had to pap him

And that, boys and girls,is what steroid abuse looks like :D

True, but lets remember nobody on this forum could get nearly as strong as him, no matter how hard we trained or how many steroids we took. He is a freak of nature.

Are there not a number of people who are stronger than him, particularly in static lifts? He's just more mobile and more of an all-rounder.

Yep there are, but he can still apply his strength better than any of them in a functional way.

From Wikipedia:
Pudzianowski was disqualified from the 2004 World's Strongest Man contest "for a breach of the new IFSA Strongman Health Policy." He was forced to return his prize money, stripped of the IFSA points from the event, and received a one year ban from competition. Pudzianowski did not dispute his banned substance violation and waived his right to have his B sample verified.

That he is an awesome athlete isn't in question here. What is in question is his status as a role model for the strongman arena when he is clearly on the gear.

I realise it isn't just him but come on...do people think his level of strength is attainable just by diet and exercise?
