Just heard that STS-131 launch is likely to be delayed into April. Gutted doesn't even come close to summing things up. The problem - the snow that affected Washington DC. There's no snow in Florida - it's just too cold. Don't want another Challenger though so I understand. :(

Holiday is paid for and non-cancellable obviously. I left it as late as I could so there's nothing I can do. I don't think I can afford another trip to Florida before September, so I'm done. :(

PS - on the bright side, I will of course still enjoy the holiday - and still go to Kennedy. Likely to be my last trip to Florida so I'll certainly make the most of it - shuttle or not. :)

I’ve been reading about it and it doesn’t look very promising. But you never know so keeping fingers crossed for you. :)

Flight Day 11 – The Extra Day

• President Obama Call

• Transfer of the life-support systems racks into Tranquility

The crew of Endeavour were woken at 21:17 GMT to the song “Oh Yeah” by Johnny A.

Not sure the Cupola lives up to the hype. There's an awful lot of 'structure there'. No doubt the views are amazing but are they that much better than available elsewhere?

PS - for photography, the window in Destiny still has the edge. I'm not entirely sure where that window is though as it's not in a good place for the truss cameras to see (if they can 'see' it at all).

For the uninitiated:

The Destiny Module has a window which is used for WORF the ISS Window Observational Research Facility.
