Oh believe me - i am a very happy bunny!!! :)

Just fitted a Swiftec spacer kit to it too! Really improves the temps on the sandwiched core!!! Is a very sweet card!

I know it seems overkill, but if i can afford a better card or whatever it might be, i will always get it. I know i could save money or get other stuff with the cash, but its what i can afford so i shall be getting 1 of them.

Seems odd, but i dont mind admitting that i am a little odd :)

What is odd is spending £200 on a GFX & getting only 1GB RAM! If you plan to get back into gaming, you will find that 2GB is highly needed.

Also, better go for matched pair of memory sticks than simply 'adding' another later :)
 
Like what was just said, t is weird sending £200 on a graphics card when your PC only has 1GB of memory. Even for multitasking it's far better. :rolleyes:

But fair enough, it's upto you.
 
youll be stuck with medium for most games if you dont get 2gb ram so its abit of a waste if a card and system if it cant go max just becuase of some ram

They are so far outta the pram, they cant even see the pram :P

Think my motherboard takes 8gb, so i might go for 4gb now and then more next year! That make you all happy? Well with the RAM situation anyway, i know you think im mad for getting the EVGA :)
 
Nope, not at all. Some purchasing decisions are made completely on logic, like my sensible, cheap little Fiat Brava.

And other are made with a little insane passion, like putting 4 whopping big speakers and a 12" sub in such a cheap little car :D

If you want it then you get it! Couldn't really afford a GX2 and 22" monitor but got it cos i wanted it! :rolleyes: ;)

Temptation's a wonderful and evil thing all at the same time! :D
