IT has really been my life up until now. Im 22 and work in an office as a computer operator on mostly 12hour shifts days and nights.

When on nights it is just you on your own behind a desk for 12 hours. I need to get out now before I go completely insane. I don't want to work with computers at all as I hate working with them, I want a total change.

Quite fancy the construction industry driving jcb diggers. I could afford funding this training but don't have a clue where to look for these kind of courses.

anyone got any ideas?

No not tried for a different job, could be just this one but I Just want out of IT. Sick of been behind a desk and looking at a screen.

Im really a jack of all trades when it comes to computers, like above average in photoshop, programming, web design etc but not completely strong and interested in one area.

Join the Army, they'll love someone joining who wants to drive things around :)

The above post does not mean I condone becoming a Pongo in any way shape or form

first off you need a few things, you need to get cards and what not to work on a construction site, starting off with a cscs card and then all your different licence for dumper, digger etc. i will dig out some links for ya bud but it could take a while!

There are Building colleges and apprentaships (thats not spelt right, but I am quite drunk so I dont care) that you can join on.

If only so you guys have something on the ground to practise targetting ;)

My grandad remembered chucking bags of flour out of the open cockpit of his Sopwith Camel in 1917 to practise aiming bombs !

Just found his old record online and here !
