Hey guys, you probably see 100's of these threads, but what the hell, I thought I'd give it a go and ask the 'experts'.
I currently have an i5 2500k, GTX 570 and 2x 250g seagates in RAID 0. I am starting to get low FPS (in and around 40) when I run the newest games on max. That wouldn't really be a problem on it's own, but since I like to record gameplay, it is. When I record with fraps I usually get decent FPS but get micro sutterring. I'm guessing this is due to the 570 so I am planning to upgrade. (it could be the HDD's but I think RAID 0 is enough to record in 30fps 1080p)
I am stuck between a few cards. The 670, 680 (if I can get it cheap) or a 7-series AMD card. I've never gone with AMD so I'm not sure if I want to invest in a card from them.
Basically the question is, if you were me, which card would you upgrade to? Let's say your max budget would be in an around 300 quid, preferably lower.
Also, how much would I get for my used 570 on ebay? It's an ASUS Direct CU II and is in good condition.
Cheers
