Hi guys

Am just setting up a new pc, and trying to install a pci tv card. I am having a few probs. Looking inside the case, I can see that I will need some sort of pci riser card ?, but I just dont know what type, and how to measure it so that it will fit ?

Anyone have any ideas ? Any model numbers / links would be appreciated . . .

Perhaps if you could provide us with some model numbers, that would be more helpful! :)

You say this is a new PC, but your enclosure looks ancient and dusty to me, and possibly non-standard and/or incompatible with your motherboard. Forgive me if I'm wrong....

What are your specs?

Its a 2.8Ghz P4 setup. So not too old.

Link to tech data

Here is the link to the data sheets. Its basically a microatx based case which is used in industrial applications for data display.

I have 3 of these, and one already has exactly the right type of PCI riser in, but doesnt have any model numbers or markings on it - so dont know how do get hold of another one.

Here are a few pics of the other pc, which does have the right type of pci riser in . . .

It looks like a standard generic pci riser. Go Google!

Edit, you can get flexible ones (that use cable between the plug and the socket) if you're worried about diemensions etc.
