Stuck XP

Hi,

When I boot an install that has been perfect for 3 years, I get this screen:

Can't think of any specs that have changed or any software/hardware installed recently.

Specs:

Boot Drive: WDC160GB
Documents Drive: 2x WDC160GB (RAID0)
SATA in RAID mode
SATA optical drive
Asus Rampage Extreme
Intel QX9350
Corsair DDR3 Dual Channel 2GB
1200 Thermaltake PSU
BFG nVidia 260OC

Start testing the system. I'd start with an easy one -memory. Grab the ultimate boot cd 4.1.1 and give memtest86+ a go.

Can you get in in safe mode?

Safe mode returns the same result.

tried whacking the space bar or alt tab?

I had a similar thing where it would 'appear' to hang at the loading screen when behind, for some reason it was waiting for a new password to be entered.

Prolly not but worth a try.

Repair install fixed everything. .Cheers
