STUDENTS! Summer....

What would people do for 10 weeks if they had a budget of around £1k?

Research -> Buy Stuff -> Sell Stuff -> Make profit -> £££

Probably in a market or something, i'm sure it'd work

Going to Rome for a week. Highlights are gonna be visiting Pompeii and hopefully climbing Mount Vesuvius.

I absolutely cannot wait.

my usual 12 hours work per week, visit my grandparents, then dos around, until the 3rd September, when i have to work more to cover the money my mum loses for me not being in full time education...that and start looking for somewhere to live

(and a new job...full time at sainsburys...not something I'm looking forward to

)

I'm from the states here living at my parents house going to school...will have nothing to do during summer so I'm looking for something as well.

Some kind of job or something.

thats hardly fair, my mum and dad got married at a similar age, and had only known each other for a year or so before the wedding, but they have been about as happily married as you can be for the last 19 years :rolleyes:

BUNAC gives you wider variety in jobs, I worked in an Ice Cream Parlour. CAMP is more restricted but you get free food and accomodation and $800 iirc(depending on program.

*wishes i could go abroad. Id love just to travel around america... I think thats a post uni summer.
Id love to be able to get a few people together for a summer holiday 2008, might be able to plan to afford it.

I'm going to Canada for 9 weeks. Will look into that BUNAC thing to see if I can get a working visa over in Canada.

Got a job lined up in September for when I get back. Then the rot starts.
