XP still , Win7 or Win8?

Win 7 on the vast majority, standard PCs.

Individual departments are allowed whatever they want though, I'm in earth science and all computers in our rooms are macs. There's probably a good 40-50 mac laptops and 20 or 30 iMacs for student use.

When I was at Uni it was Windows 7/Ubuntu dual boot systems, and a few Mac Pros with OSX.

We have a few macs, general office computers with Windows 7 and HP workstations for CAD / computational tasks which require higher powered hardware.

When I left they had Win 7 normal PCs. My work is win 7 VDIs, although dual screens.

I use Win 8 at home, and would happily use it in a working environment, on account of it being better.

Dont think I could handle using it as a student tbh. But then again I suppose being told you have to use it in class, it'll probably grow on you.

7 on all the medical school pc's, XP on most of the ones on the wards.
