Oops I seem to have stuffed my PC, I went to unplug my ipod from my PC just now but as I was unplugging it my display went crazy and started flashing mutlicolour. I restarted the machine and it is still the same it flashes between pink and lime green!

The bios screen suffers the same thing so I'm guessing it is a graphics card issue, have I fried it? I have tried a CMOS reset ,any other suggestions on what else I can try?

I've never used an Ipod before, but does it require you to use the 'Safely remove hardware' feature in windows before you remove it? If so, did you use this?

I've heard of similar cases to yours, but when people have plugged device into the machine. It's usually down to the motherboard.

sounds like monitor cable has come loose.

Right just checked, cable seems fine but reseated it anyway and still the same. Just tried reinstalling the graphics driver and no effect. Going to try reseating the graphics card next and see what that does.

Done it a few times with the wifes ipod, forgotten to "safely remove". Never had an error like OP's, just system reboots on me.
