Hey Guys,

Okay so im looking for a build for a friend built mine and it went swimmingly so to speak haha, as in mine is completely fine so im going to build one for my friend he has a budget of around £550 higher or lower is allowed just explain the spec and show me what you've got all he needs is it to be able to play the games below preferably in higher details but doesn't expect to be able to max out on them at this budget.
CS:GO
Lineage 2
Elder Scrolls

his old pc was DDR2 4GB / nvidia 250 GTX | cant remember what else he had so yeah, something that he will notice an improvement on obviously.
get speccing oh forgot to mention, Don't need OS, and don't need monitor keyboard or mouse, so this is purely for the computer build! thanks guys!

And as mentioned above can build ourselves so will be ordering parts!

im here.

It will play more than just those three games you listed well.

gonna switch for the black version of the case but other than that looks good thanks stu, you've outdone yourself yet again! :) would the cpu be fine without an aftermarket cooler? as i was going to put my cooler into his machine then go for an AIO myself?

should be nice and easy to put together yeah stu? btw remember my build? it runs quite hot on CS:GO wasn't sure if i should use better thermal paste?

Should be very simple to put together.

Did your build have a cooler? could try redoing the paste with fresh stuff if its been awhile.

Erm ill run a test later and find out back to this pc, erm the cpu you recommended isnt in stock should i switch it out for the 4570? There looks to be virtually no difference other than £7 price lemme know asap zo can order. Also should i order a better thermal compound or would the one included be good enough?

stu i ordered all your parts you suggested got delivered today, currently putting it together one well ide say major problem lol.. im wiring it all up and the case fans I can't attach to the mobo, there isn't any available slots for the 2 3 pin fans? :/ what do i do! :o

There is one chassis fan header (not including the CPU fan header for the heatsink).

The case comes with two fans? thought it was just one.

yeah but the two on the mobo are 4 pin ones, so the CPU fan is using one of these, but then yeah the case comes with 1 front fan and 1 rear fan, so obviously cant plug them both in is it ok to plug 1 of the 3 pin adapters into the 4 pin slot? or would this be a bad idea? and would i need to buy that cable i linked you above to be able to make both fans work?

leave the cpu on the cpu header.

You can plug a 4pin fan into a 3pin fan header and not use the PWM function and visa versa.

That cable will run both case fans at full speed, but if they are 4pin fans then they wont fit into those 3pin plastic connectors on that cable.
