not all fps counters are averaged, it is important to know what you are looking at, but equally expressing a frame time as an FPS measurement is not invalid, it is just another way of expressing it

the problem with the hardware pal review / graphs is that showing frame times makes you think he is doing it the proper way, when really his min/max/avg graph is doctored

it is a glaring error and not one I've seen a "reviewer" make before, as I said above, that is not how most reviewers do it anymore

Average fps and instant fps are 2 different things, it is disingenuous to assume that all fps has to be an average
Technically speed and velocity are 2 different things, but we use speed measurements to refer to current velocity everyday

More importantly the words minimum and maximum shouldnt be used to describe an average

It you look at the bottom they is current, avg, min and max

I wasnt referring to you, this entire conversation has been regarding hardware pal's results, where he has a "minimum fps" which is actually a "lowest average"

Though the two readings you refer to, one is an average (the ine in the top right corner), the other is not

Thought I would do some footage of a couple of maps with frames being recorded in the corner. ~80 fps with all maxed and x2SS isn't bad for a single Titan and I am really enjoying the game

I'm getting next to no usage from my 780ti because the settings i use, bloody frame lock is annoying. This game is a fairly undemanding.

Needs dedicated servers, last couple of games i had was jumping all over the screen.
Not a clue why they feel they don't need dedicated servers for PC, and what's with the bars???? That doesn't make any sense, numbers make sense.

They want to sell map packs etc. Dedis eat into this.

I mean custom servers give players a value add and keep their interest without the need to pay for map packs.

Grubbing.

Although an army of console trolls / shills tried to make the server cost argument back during MW2. So frustrating trying to debunk the same argument 1000 times. It's like the 30fps thing now.
