Most of those companies will likely be doing pre clearance including paying the vat up front, and either importing in bulk to a uk distribution centre or registered with customs so they know about it. Items sent by individuals always tend to be slower.

Anyway i'm going to close this as it's probably not going to go down well in GD, and we normally move brexit stuff to SC.
