I remember collecting the blue pepsi ringpulls and sending them off for a Pepsi FM radio. That was awesome! Used it for a good few years until it packed in.

I remember a few years ago Coke made a massive mistake and you could see if a bottle of coke was a winner before you even opened the bottle by turning the bottle upside down. I think i made quite a few quid of that one from selling the mp3 player and cameras i `won`. Also I drunk free coke for about 2 months becuase most of the bottle i used to get were free bottles and then i would search for other winners so never really paid for more bottles lol. This continued for quite a while if I remember becuase it made the new and loads of bottles were recalled.

I texted the codes from 10 bloody dr pepper bottles.
I didn't get anything :(
Anyway, i'm off to buy 10 more. The possibility of winning just gives me an excuse to buy the best drink known to man :D

People don't buy products for the chance of winning a prize they can't be bothered to claim...
I can assure you they do
By claim I mean these ones where there's effort to find out if they've won, rather than knowing they've won and then claiming.

Also miss the wee toys you get in cereal boxes. Loved the walkers blu3 packet.

I was only thinking about that this morning as i poured my bowl of cornflakes, it's obviously down to our nanny state and health and safety :(. if i ever ran for power i'd run for common sense, i'd ban the compensation culture we have and try and get things back to how they used to be! RIP the good old days.

+1 for the Walkers' blue sachets containing a free bag of crisps. I never had any notes though. A 6th former mate used to gamble with Walkers and gave me the remaining bag of crisps every time he lost :-)

Worse is that with many of these things it's not even a winning packet/can/miscellaneous container. It's often just a random lottery.
