stupid card not working

ok so did you personally install these new parts?
so when you cold boot you get POST beep and then error message regarding hdd? do you have an additional hard drive to test with?
Also remember when attempting a fresh install of windows the optical drive must be set to first in the boot order.

sigh Im not too sure if i am helping or actually casuing you more confusion
 
You are helping, it's just nothing is working lol

I tried another HDD and it worked fine, I'm guessing that and the graphics card are both fried. I will just replace them aswell, or take everything back and buy a pre-built PC to save me the hassle.

ah so a different hd in the same system worked, but still the gpu doesnt respond? that is an odd coincidence, if you can get into the device manager with the other harddrive see if the card shows up, worth a shot
