Stupid clocks go stupid forward this weekend.

Isn't this amazing everyone!!!!!! Sunset isn't until 7.40PM !!!

This is wonderful, had tea, still time to potter about in the garden, marvellous :D :D :D :):):):cool::cool:

100% DO NOT understand people that prefer to live as a depressed goth in freezing cold temps without light, must some serious issues in life if you prefer that!! lol

I love pottering in the garden and washing the car in the lighter evenings.

The stuff of dreams my friend !

The way I see it, if societies goths want to sit in the dark in the cold - we have freezers for that - have at it! It's more practical and a lot easier for them to do that (seeing as they don't like going outside), and allow the rest of us daylight to see what we're *****y doing with our days and get on with life & enjoy the great outdoors !!! - Doesn't work the other way around as people who like outside and daylight wouldn't do well in a small sauna without the ability to do anything else at all in life lol

Thank god. I can start feeling happy again. Roll on summer, you winter lovers are sadistic.

Absolutely - I simply don't get the psychology of enjoying miserable cold & darkness, it baffles me. I had to do a few jobs outside this winter, mostly on my van & it was just painful, literally, hands hurting from the cold, blistering skin from the cold air, cuts & scrapes seem to happen easier, all the more painful in the cold - just horrific.

Everyone's circumstances are different, i don't mind the summer but dislike the humidity and difficulty in cooling down trouble sleeping

Colder months don't have the issue I'm also the type that doesn't mind walking in the cold or rain

Both have pro and cons for me would be boring if just had one all the time

Not sure what I thought last time , it's going to be light anyway so don't really need an extra hour , guess it makes the usable day longer if I choose to do outdoor stuff after work but tbh half of the time it's CBA and blinds on as I have Fri sat sun for surfing and walking

I have a radio alarm clock. It sets the time whenever it connects to the radio signal. When is the time it connects to the radio signal? When it goes off. Twice a year, without fail, despite having the technology to update its time when the clocks change, it gets the time wrong the day after (or, as today, the day after that if it wasn't set to go off on the Sunday). Twice a year, without fail, I forget that it suffers from this obvious design flaw.

Late to the party this year, but once again, @Feek you are wrong.

Although in currently in Queensland and they don’t do any daylight savings, maybe you should move here? :p

If only there was some way to "correct" the earths tilt on its axis. :p

if you had set an alarm for between 0100 and 0159 would it have went off?

assuming on a phone etc when the clock adjusts itself?

I barely notice the difference in light btw, working shifts plus it changes day to day depending on the weather anyway!

Aircon units literally cool you down & remove humidity - you'll sleep no different to winter then.
