As title, this is doing my head in, got a firmware update for a 128gb Crucial SSD, its a bootable firmware, yeah very useful when I dont have a DVD drive (seriously who has these still nowadays !?!?!?!)

Anyways yeah im an advanced user id say usually use unetbootin to 'flash' a firmware to a USB drive, but this sodding thing wont do it, it flashes it, boots into unnetbootins screen but then it just sits there saying waiting for boot, obvously this ISO wont work, SO then I try all manner of other ways, trying to get OSX on my mac for example to 'restore' the ISO to the usb disk, wont do that either says invalid argument

So fellow people what the hell can I do now short of going out to buy a pointless dvd/rw (which im refusing to do out of spite)

I use my old xbox HD DVD drive for games but obviously that doesnt write CD's............ why the F the manufactors cant release a firmware updater that runs off usb keys is beyond me, iv tried everything now, unnetbootin again and 5 other software type things, it wont work as its a linux boot so a ms dos boot maker doesnt seem to work, ANNOYING, seriously as well ill burn it to the disc and throw the disc in the bin as ill never use it again

POINTLESS
