Stupid Messages?

Also annoying when you try to sell something on the MM and someone offers you £2 less, and when you decline (what's £2?!), they turn down the sale

shy bairns get nowt !

youd be amazed how many people will sell things for cheap to make a quick sale. maybe not 'that' cheap but make a counter offer.

Studying in college to getting those degrees and then getting those jobs and THEN going to buy a gaming rig? yeah well the world doesnt work as efficiently as we all hope eh :P

Power to him I guess? I was taught if you don't ask you wont get. The worst someone can say is no.

Reminds me of one of my old bosses, we had just built a depot and needed to kit it out with desks and chairs etc, I had a local firm come in and we went through the spec. Now we were a machinery sales company so knew sales, overheads and so on. Whenever I negotiate I always recognise people are in business not charity.

Anyway the furniture came to about 6k, myy boss said right well were not far apart, il give you 2k and he held his hand out to shake.... I sat there and wanted the chair to eat me up after all I called them in not to waste there time with silly offers.

I think they setlled at 5600. As somebody pointed out you dont ask you dont get some people have no problems offering 10 quid for a item worth 10x that

Had this happen to me as well recently. Was selling a toner plate (gym equipment), and some random offered £10 for it. I said, no, do your research before you ask a question like that as these for for around £50 2nd-hand. Lo and behold, my item went for £56. Silly bint.

I read thread title as "Stupid Massages" as in when someone behind you just grabs your shoulders and starts massaging them randomly.
