I've had someone message me with a derisory offer on ebay and give me the hard sell. Asking me not to be offended by their offer and then explaining why it made sense for me to sell it to them at that price. Cheeky sod.
People seem to take low-ballers very seriously and get offended by their offers. I wonder why that is, psychologically speaking? They have nothing to lose by trying it on (apart from their own sense of pride) and it's no trouble really to just ignore them.
I agree on the above, why deny something for £2... can't afford enough cereal or something
oh and at the above.. it's ignorant and selfish to waste someones time messaging them for a low ball... my items got around 20 or more watchers that will likely bid for the item
