Hi again guys, just wondering if there is anyway i can make my graphics card quieter? fan wont go below 40% and is really annoying me!

Download something like MSI Afterburner, go into Settings (at the bottom) -> Fan, then set the fan profile to what you would like at different temperatures.

Don't set the fan too low or it could overheat though.

Down load MSI After Burner and hopefully manually adjust, but keep a eye on temps.

yeh i did that but it wont let me put the fan to below 40%, apparently that is the minimum nvidia have set it to? is there another way of making this thing quieter?

what make of GTX460 is it, if you read through the GTX460 owners thread, you will find some makes like the Palit are just naturally noisy.
