Stupid question - does TIM expire

I have a syringe of arctic silver TIM that I bought 18 months ago for my tower cooler. I will be changing motherboard and cpu soon is it safe to still use this paste?

Yeah will be fine i still use 4 year old tube of MX-3.

It will be fine but it is good practice to clean and re-paste when removing the cooler.

Lasts a good while, I had no issues using a six year old tube of as ceramique I found lying in a drawer.

Thanks guys, I fully plan to clean both the cpu and cooler just wasn't sure on the life span of the paste.

I've used years-old TIM without any noticeable bad effects. I guess so long as you don't do something silly like leave the top off it'll be fine.
