Stupid Question!?!

Of course you can. That was a silly question.

Thats like asking would diesel work in my petrol engine.

Its a fair and logical question, And i'm sure in a few months you could actually be wrong.

Or right and just not plain sarcastic :p

Well a while back I saw a article stating (in my own words) that the 360 you can bassically only use MS wheels and controllers where as with PS3 you can run almost any controllers

Its just I love the 360 controller but not the noise 360 itself!

You can modify an original xbox controller to a USB port, I wonder if you could get it working on a 360 that way? :p

Uh, 360 controllers are usb ports
...yeah I know - an Xbox 1 controller isn't though, but you can easily modify xbox 1 controllers to work on a PC via USB. Then maybe the modded USB xbox 1 controller would plug into the 360 (and work)..! You know, for the cheapskate who'd rather re-use his xbox controller rather than buy an xbox 360 controller :p

I'm remaining doubtful though, MS have probably changed the drivers or whatever for the 360 :(

The reason original Xbox controllers were so easy to mod to be USB is because they actually are USB, just with a different shaped connector. Still, that doesn't necessarily mean they are compatible with anything with a USB port.

is there a ps2-360 converter? i know there was for the xbox, reason i ask is...is it possible to use something like this (if it indeed exists) to get a PS2 guitar hero controller to work with GH2 on 360?

could try a usb - ps2 converter maybe ?

i know they work on the ps3 usb ports ( never tested it with guitar hero guitar mind but it should work i guess ? )

Just incase there was still any doubt, i just plugged my USB 360 controller into the PS3 and it wont even come on lol
