Sorry to do this to yas but was looking to get one on O2 in Feb.
Plus was wondering what this phone was like with newer Firmware updates, do you get them being on O2, or do they still put there own crap on it?

1. Is it still the fact you cant do much with the themes (seems lame btu I like a change now and then), I assume ringtones etc can be done to my choice of MP3?

2. How good is the Qwerty touch with fingers only?...a lot have said it jsut takes alittle time to get used too, but is it still the fact that you can only use the Qwerty layout for messages and memos, not for entering Contacts etc (seems abit lame).

Overall how have people found it?

Cheers for any input :)

Just anothiner little thing, anyone see it dropping price by the end of Feb?...just I only want a 12 month contract this time.

i loved mine...

never had an issue with themes and yes u can set mp3s as ringtones etc etc...

took me a couple of days but the feedback on the screen is very nice for texting!!

video at 120fps absolutely rocks.

overall a very smart phone, i sold mine however as i wanted a tytn2 but i would highly recommend it...

grrr was looking at the TytnII as well, dont think O2 have it tho, would cost plenty more I would imagine anyways!?

cant do much with the themes, but you can change the wallpaper, put a clock and/or calender on the main screen. things like that. tones are all selectable. honestly....its probably the best phone ive ever used for texting:o certainly quicker than my n95.

viewty's are great phones, but there's one or two thingsy that let them down a little. most notably, the dog-slow media browsing which is made even worse when i know how quick it is on the n95, and the time it takes to open pictures up for viewing from the browser, again - dog-slow.

I'm very interested in the Viewty as well considering the good reviews it has received. I'm wondering though how does it stack up against the Samsung F700 and Iphone?

I'm on Vodafone atm but my contract should be due for renewal soon, I wondering if I should take this oppotunity to go with another network since Voda only have the F700.

Firstly, i never touch anything Samsung. Girl`s phones and usually cheap and nasty build quality with dire battery life.

Secondly, The Iphone is a gimmick. Looks cool for sure, but lacks any substance inside. Bluetooth thats limited to headsets and car kits only, a 2mp camera [pre 2002 technology], no video rec mode and expensive to purchase with the initial cost and the £30 min contract with 02.

Thirdly, Choose the Viewty and the 3 network. You will not look back. Very innovative phone and network combined to give you maximum value for money.

Obviously, these are my own opinions but very much based on my own review of what i have seen and used. I have had many phones over the years, the VIEWTY is my all time favourite. It`s that good.

I persoanlly dont believe there is any point pitting this aginst the iPhone, as far as im concernd they are different things simple as that, its just the fact they both have touch screens people seem to assume they are in the same league and are meant to do the same things, they dont and arnt suppossed too.

Look slike im going for a Viewrty then, tho will see what )" offer as the TyTnII alternative.
Does anyone have any experience of this type of that phone/ pda'ish?.
