Stuttering in games

lack of video card memory sounds like the problem. i get it in battlefield 2 if i have texture details to high, need to put them to medium and its fine then.

I get gfx stuttering in games. Its like every second there's a small delay. Ive eliminated everything I can think of, e.g. data execution prevention, drivers, background processes, taskbar, vsync on/off, running CPU at default, unplugging USB, but it still persists. Had the same with my old 6800 AGP card on this board too.

Have you installed the latest AMD CPU Drivers?

I've a 512mb video card and so does the first poster. I tried this but turning down the settings didn't seem to help.

Start, Run, type dxdiag, go to the sound tab and set hardware acceleration to standard (or normal, I'm typing this on an old machine as my main machine is inbits)
