Im thinking of swapping my case for a HTPC style case which will house the following components

i've got the following

c2d 6300 @2.8ghz
2gb geil 6400
gigabyte ds3
clubman ati 2900xt 512

can someone suggest a good stylish HTPC with remote control and good airflow. i use my machine for gaming and watching TV downloads

max I'm looking to spend is £200 but anything under will be brilliant

thanks

Just speaking personally here, but I would prefer a nice low-key standard case like a Lian Li PC-7 rather than an HTPC style case.

A standard case means you can use full size componants (virtually all HTPC cases will only fit an matx mobo), is more expandable (eg. more drives, expansion cards, whatever) and will generally have better airflow so can cool better/quieter.

I'd go for the Lian Li PC-7 and an iMon Remote (not used these but they look like they'd do the job)

You can easily find some awesome cases that accept ATX boards for HTPC cases.

Check out the Silverstone LC17, or the LaScala series by Silverstone. They're very good cases, and extremely well built.

I've got a silver LC17, with a full size ATX board in it you may struggle to use all 6 HDD bays, but you can comfortably fill at least 3-4 bays.

The Zalman HD series of cases are also very good and highly regarded.

Remote wise, I'd look at picking up the Windows Media Centre remote :)

You can normally pick these up in a bundle with the Hauppauge WinTV remotes
