Sub £100 SSD for boot drive!

Please help me choose between the 5

* Vertex 4 fastest but aparantly I need to keep 50% of SSD free for performance mode, otherwise it's slow. Anyone comment on this?

samsung? the ocz is the fastest though but for reliability the samsung is good

The IOPs and sequental alone out of context don't really mean much btw.

You may find your laptops throughput hampered by the manufacturers implemntation to fit into power/thermal/cost envelopes. Worth looking up your model and seeing what others have experienced before choosing an expensive cutting edge ssd and then finding it will be affected and run no different than a cheaper one.
