Hello,

Can anyone recommend a sub £150 cound card for use in conjunction with my hi-fi (NAD amp & MS speakers) and shuttle-type PC? I don't want one that requires a 5 1/4 inch bay as my only one is in use. I only need the one line out too, as all output will go to the hifi. That said, I do need to be able to connect up my headset for use with skype, or would it be possible to leave that to my onboard sounc card?

Thanks, dango

Thanks Zildjian. Having had a look at the specs, I think a new cable might be all I need. The M-Audio 192 is 24bit/192kHz while my onboard audio is 32bit/192kHz! Just checking, but that does mean that my onboard is better than the M-Audio, right??

Cheers, Dan

I have an M-audio delta 1010lt that i also use for music production. I can safely say that when i moved from a naff creative sound blaster to the M-audio delta 1010lt the sound blew me away (NAD c340 amp and B&W 601 S2 speakers). I wish i could remember that step up everyday.
