Been having a glance around at the sub £200 price point for ergonomic chairs. I’ve seen that the SIHOO M57 has been recommended on a thread here.
There’s also the SIHOO M59AS which seems to be an updated version.
Hbada have a few offerings like their P5 and E2.
Flexispot BS8 and BS5 too.
Does anyone have any experiences with these chairs or companies, or any other recommendations?

Probably too late but I have a Sihoo M18 that I have been enjoying. Pretty good for the price.
Cheers for the reply. Ended up grabbing a Sihoo c300. It’s decent. The lumbar support is nice. Forces me into a good posture instead of shrimping over.

Looks like a decent upgrade over the M18. How's the mesh seat? I always worry they won't be comfortable

Looking at one of those myself, on offer at the mo for £129.99
Arrived and put together in around half hour or so.

Feels comfy, arm rests are nice too.

One slight issue are the wheels, at time it feels like they jam up a little and don't spin round properly. So it's like you're trying to move with a wheel side on, if that makes sense?

Could be a floor issue I guess

Thanks for the recommendation, I’d not heard of the brand before. I just pulled the trigger on the M58 for £130.

Been looking around for ages and couldn't quite find what I was looking for but this seems perfect, thank you!

You guys with the Sihoos, how do you find the height of the backrest/headrest? I see reviews and when they are sat in it the headrest seems low, and I'm a 6ft dude. Just wondered what your experience is. I'm a heavier guy as well

Has anyone bought the ProtoArc EC200? seems like a decent option at this price point.

That mesh cannot be good for your back in the long term. Sagging/slouching in the critical areas?

Just looked at their site, they don't even have any stock, chair wise

Brother where you getting the info on the mesh sagging from? Also, stock seems absolutely plentiful from one Google search.

Maybe I just got unlucky with a first experience then?
Granted it was only once, but I sat in a rather expensive mesh desk chair, and it felt like a hammock and hurt my back in no time.
Maybe my back just demands stiffer backed more supported chairs, I guess?

I went on their website with UK selected, and nothing was showing? Just fold out keyboards and some ergo mouse?

I think that's another firm, these chairs are readily available online. For £150 it seems a reasonable price, you should see my current chair :p

I'd save up and buy a used Herman Miller Aeron for £300-350. They are excellent.
I found gaming chairs uncomfortable and they rolled my shoulders forward.

Until they stress fracture and crack, and being secondhand you've got no warranty.
FYI that happened twice to one of the guys on here, who had warranty. So they're just cheaply made materials and sold at an inflated price.

Then customer service fobs you off:

As for gaming chairs, was it the right size for you? As they're only copies of reclining bucket seats in cars, and you don't get that problem after hours of driving?

:p

What website did you use? Is that not their official website? My mistake if so :)
I'd be interested to have a look :D

The rainforest are selling them. I was also considering the slouch one, more expensive but it's a UK firm & reviews well, I can't find any feedback from forum members.

Ah so the website I linked was their official site then? Yet it has no stock, that's strange - I wonder if there's a partnership with the rainforest? :(

I have the Sihoo M57 and I'm 6ft 2”. I have no issues and it’s a solid chair. Can take up to 24 stone in body weight too!

Got it for £130 delivered as they have deals on their site every so often so worth waiting.
