Any recommendations..

CM690 Black stands out but so does the Akasa Freedom Xone which a fair bit cheaper...

Any others I should be checking...?

ps: no Antec 300 suggestions please its a POS..!!:p

Lancool Dragon Lord K58 is out of stock at the moment, but is an unbelievable case for £60; bought one a couple of months back and it's fantastic.

Why dont you like the Antec 300 then? because its always recommended as the best budget case.

Small, ugly, poor cable management? Also expensive now compared to release when it was £38 or something.

I would probably go Lancool at the ops budget.

Antec 300 - cooling is excellent - easy to clean filters - cables can be reasonably tidy with a little forthought. Very pleased with mine.

Its made of tinfoil, its cramped, its over priced, its pig ugly, and its made by Antec.

If it was £25 then I would agree its a decent case but for nigh on £50? Your having a giraffe..!!

Well the build wasn't for me anyway and after going through allllloooottttt of cases with him, he's gone for the Akasa Freedom Xone.

Its sat in my office at work and I aint touched it yet so I guess we'll see. But just looking at its appearance says to me its gotta be better the 300, hell the cardboard box it came in would be better then the 300..!!

got the CM690 Pure Black. nice case. large enough to fit all of the latest graphics cards. rubber mounted feet. plenty of fans options. looks very nice in all black. toolless design for mounting optical drive / HDDs is a bit lacking but plenty of screws provided to secure things down properly. Could have a little better cable management holes at the bottom of the case. Front bezel is a little tricky to get off. you have to give it a right yank, but its not broken yet...i'm sure it wouldnt actually sanp?! firewire / eSata / 2x USB front panel connectors. will fit the titan fenrir cpu cooler which is one of the larger coolers on the market with ~10-12mm to spare. would love for the CM690 Pure Black Dominator Case to have a nVidia side window!
