Sub vibrates

Hi All I have a problem with a soundbar and sub , the sub is sat behind the t.v on a carpet , but the bass is vibrating even when set low and the t.v volume can,t be turned up to much as when the bass kicks in the house rocks ha! any ideas how to correct this ? the make i have is the panasonic soundbar sc-htb20 :confused:

Start off with making sure that the sub is sitting flat on all four feet. Check it's not leaning against something that is loose enough to rattle in sympathy.

Next, use the remote and turn down the sub and turn up the dialogue. It's a bit of a long shot, but it might be an idea to have a look at the TV menus to see if anything there might help.

It's your money, so if you're desperate to spend some cash then go ahead. Just be aware though that that's a solution to a different problem than the one you described in the OP.

Please try to be clear so as not to waste the time of forum member's attempting to help you.....Is it your sub that's making the rattling sound, or it it something in the room?

Also, have you tried what was suggested in the first reply? Let us know how you got on with that.
