Subaru Delivery

Well yeah, but that's not people complaining for the sake of it most of the time, you can see why those incidents might upset a few people, which is different to what his first post implied.

No it isn't different. Nearly everything that comes out of Clarksons mouth upsets people. At least once an episode there is something to keep the complaints department at the BBC busy for a bit. Its the very nature of Top Gear to make such comments.

Seems an expensive waste of time given the limited exposure it will get and the increased delivery costs.

That's the funniest thing I have read today (it has been a dull morning).

How on earth is the driver supposed to sit in the upside down one to drive it off? The mind boggles.

This advert shows us that.. the new Impreza looks cack and holds the road.

No, it shows us that it looks cack and can be bolted to things.

It would catch some attention from people but only one transporter? Bit of a lame advertising campain if you ask me.

Well, it's already got someone to post a photo on this forum, and a number of others to join in a discussion about it. I imagine we aren't the only people in the world to be talking about it either. Therefore seems fairly successful to me already.

Missed the point? Here you are sitting on the internet saying a single transporter will reach a limited audience, whilst also looking at a picture of it distributed on the internet.

Googling for subaglue links to all manner of European forums, blogs and news sites with pictures of that single transporter.

Very nice way of marketing, certainly will get people discussing and become curious. Whether it boosts sales or not I don't know but I like the fact they gave something other than standard magazine/tv ads a try!
