It was nice. The time my nephew threw up on me though...not so much. And that - was a distraction. Hence why I pulled over when safe to do so. So you see - I have first hand experience of children being a distraction in the car. I also have the evidence to back it up. You and those others trying to argue don't ha e that evidence. But clearly you all know better than peer reviewed scientific research.

So you're saying that when you had your nephew in the car, you didn't glance at him at least once? Assuming he is old enough to hold a conversation, you didn't at least move your head slightly whilst conversing?

Come on mate, you're starting to look ridiculous here. I'd repeat Simon's question here, but apparently it's not appropriate. At this point it's clear that you're not open to any opinion or experience but yours, so at this point I'll leave you to it. Have a good one :)
 
Explains a lot.

Enjoy your peer reviewed papers etc and come back once you are a parent - especially of a very young child - and tell me your actions are exactly the same, I think you’ll find they won’t be.
