Suction mount

Hi,

I'm looking for a suction mount that will work nicely with the iPhone 4, including a car charger if possible as TomTom really does drain the power.

I have the bumper on, so it'll need to be something that will fit with that.

Any suggestions?

Xstand Go is very good, if it hasn't had an iPhone 4 update yet I presume it will be imminent.

I'm thinking I'll need one of those adjustable ones if I want to use it with the bumper, so maybe something generic?

Brodit are ace for adjustable mounts, they do iPhone ones that are adjustable to allow for cases and so on. I'm unsure if they do a suction cup mount though.

Brodit do some nice ones, with built in chargers, but I can't seem to find any of their suction cup range for the iPhone on their website?

They do the part for the phone, then the mount. You buy them seperately - the mount depends on your car. I don't know off the top of my head if they do a window mount proclip.

I bought this from the jungle and it's bloody good for a fiver. It can accommodate an iPhone 4 with any case you could possibly have due to it's ratcheted holding arms, at one point I thought it was going to go wide enough to take my iPad , and seems to really hold my iPhone 4 securely. Unfortunately it doesn't come with an in car charger for that price.

It's gone up a couple of quid since I bought it last week but it's worth it. Used it for the first time yesterday and perfect for the job. The iPhone is nice and secure, though it took me a little while to actually look at the road and not my iPhone in case it fell off .

Does it just squeeze together against the iPhone and rely on the pressure/friction to keep it in place. It doesn't have anything to hold it at the bottom?

In the photo there are 2 little hinged protrusions that you can have to aid holding the iPhone. I used mine in landscape without these opened and the soft pads on the arms, and the arms themselves, held my phone securely.

Does it have a clip thing on the suction cup to secure it to the window properly like most do? I can't see it in your photo.
