I think HL 1 with the HD add on is best. I believe HL:Source still looks crap compared to it.

This thread made me realise that I've only played about 15 mins of HL1. Time to fix that.

It's the same game/textures, it's just on the Source engine. Hence the name....

So you will notice the water being different and the physics of objects.

Played it when I was about 10, hated the headcrabs and headcrabbed scientists. Up until then the only games I played were racing ones so it was quite a shock!

Same but I absolutely loved it. I was playing quake and duke nukem at the time so the graphics improvement was just insane
