I am planning to buy a cheap pair of desktop speakers. My budget is around £100.
I was wondering if getting studio monitors instead of regular speakers would make more sense?
After looking around a bit I have found Edifier R1900 TII and Kurzweil KS 40a which suit my budget and have got much better reviews than anything logitec and co have for the same money. These are both active speakers which use a built in amp and I think I can add a subwoofer to them later on.
I would like to know if anybody has any experience with either of these models or similarly priced studio monitors.
Also am I missing something here? Is there something I don't know that makes these speakers unsuitable for my needs?
