Suggest a car, budget 7k

He could get an e46 BMW, but for this money he'll have to except that it will be old, and will have been to the moon&back. Unless he can live with owning a 316se.

Actually, for £7k I'd have:

Audi A4 1.8 T Sport Saloon £ 6,999
Year: 2002 '02'
Mileage: 87,194 mls
Colour: Met Blue
Fuel: Petrol
Gearbox: Manual

Do you know what his mileage limit is?

Another vote for the Leon Cupra. I bought mine last year for £7.5k and love it to bits.
When remapped, it is surprisingly fast and built as well as the Golf as well.
Insurance is a little steeper at group 16, but well worth it in my opinion.

BMW 528i Sport.

It's like a Seat only not a cheap hatchback, and fast.

It's like a VW Bora only it actually is a prestige car not a pretend one.

Less of a hatch, but Id definatly got for an Integra type-R, preferably a JDM one so you get the nice looking front bumper.

95 3.0 e36 BMW M3, maybe get an M3 Evo but not sure how good it would be at that price.

Might not be as new but if looked after it will be pretty bullet proof and give you more grin factor than any of these luke warm cars that have been mentioned due to vastly superior handling and performance ;)

Drex has really got me hot under the collar for the old RX7 recently and one of these would be in budget

Or is he one of these OMG more than 4 years old with over 20k on the clock !!!!111!!! etc

Come on peeps sugest some real cars not all this new car crap ;)

Just purchased my car and i'll be picking it up on Sunday, also had a 7K budget and went for a BMW. Only has the cloth interior as I couldn't find one with leather for the money. (took me a while to find one with cloth for the money mind!) Ended up paying £6995.
