Whilst waiting for one of the lads in the shop yesterday to get something from in the Warehouse, I noticed the lad on the counter (the one with the mega posh accent and glasses) had an OcUk sweater on.

OcUk should sell these to the public, I'm sure there would be more sufficient demand to warrant a clothing line.

Sweaters, Shirts, Polo shirts etc.

I think it would be a good idea. Not to mention free advertising!

I can safely say I would never wear anything with OcUK branding on it. No offence to OcUK but I just wouldn't, nor would I wear a polo shirt with the logo of my favourite supermarket!

Because everyone would ask why you're wearing a computer hardware shop logo.

Unless you work there, I don't see why you would want to.

what's this? geeks with fashion sense? what happened to geeks with appreciation for good companies without caring for fashion?!

My local gym bought out a range of tops with their logo embroidered onto them and they sold out in a couple of days.

Now the lad who owns it sells them regularly.

That would be my colleague Seabiscuit you are talking about. ;)

Would it make you jealous if I said I have the OcUK fashion range and the mug? :p

thats becuase people who buy gym clothing like to show off and bost about it, they think its cool and tough. No one will buy ocuk clothing

Yeah sorry, much as I like OcUK I wouldn't walk around with OcUK branded clothing unless I worked there... tho as mentioned above things like mugs, key fobs, etc. is a bit different.

That's a gym. Can you honestly not see the difference?!

Someone take him outside and shoot him :(.

OcUk is a brand, like a gym, like any private business.

And there will always be people around who are happy to promote forementioned brand.

Apologies to all those who would not be seen dead in anything other than Dolce and Gabbana and want to shoot me.

It's cool to be affiliated with a gym

It's not cool to be affiliated with a pc hardware vendor

pretty simple tbh

I don't know the numbers in terms of Overclockers customer base, but I do know the guy who owns it drives around in a Ferrari, so I should imagine it's quite a large number.

This thread only represents a very small proportion of their customers.
