Suggestions for a Gaming PC

Hi there!

I was thinking of putting together a gaming pc to run the latest games such as Left For Dead 2, Aliens Vs Predator, Napoleon Total War and other such new games to a high quality and to try and make the system last as long as possible . I will require everything except a mouse. As a student I should be able to get an upgrade to Windows 7 for £30-40 and so this does not need to take space on the budget.

However my budget is only around £650-700 maybe £750 at a real push if that would make a significant difference .

I was wondering what parts people would suggest?

If you wanting a keyboard, monitor and speakers too, then you would have to do some cutbacks and it would be hard to play at high settings and last as long, as it stands atm, that would be a fine piece of kit

Needing a monitor cuts the budget down a bit.
