Suggestions for OSX book please..

Just bought my first Mac so am looking for a good book that covers OSX, from the basics through to advanced.

Can anyone recommend some good ones?

You probably won't find anything that covers the whole spectrum. OSX The Missing Manual is a good place to start. Unfortunately OSX internals books are a bit thin on the ground.

Thanks. Had a look and there is also a similar one for Windows to Mac users too!

I think for anyone using a Mac for the first time and is interested in operating systems a book is a great idea and good for getting an overall scope of the OS. There will be nothing in the book you can't find on the Internet, but nothing beats having it all there in one place.
