Sugo SG03 Watercooling & Overclocking

Repalce sharkoons with 2 X Nexus @ 7V, won't hear a peep, does the pump not make any noise?..

Where does the Heat blown off the Radiator go, trapped inside the case...?

I had a SG03, planeed the build for months, in the end could not get a decent temp on an E6600, using NT06 or Zalman 8700 LED, and did not look watercoooling would fit, looks like you proved it wrong and done a good build, still have my Sugo case, might steal your Idea.., want temp is the GTX at idle/load? and how does a pump like that cool all of that?...

As for the PSU I ran an Enermax Liberty 500W with Nexus Fan at 12V, probably a tad quieter than your sharkoons

I feel your pain about the G33M, currently trying to find a solution my self and i think im going to have to sell it :(
Great work on the build though looks real nice and the end result of the watercooling is superb in such limited space, congrats :D

All the examples of those pumps I've seen have been very quiet indeed.

Sound ratings are actually incredibly difficult to compare as they are actually quoted at a distance, so a manufacturer quoting 30dB isn't telling you anything really - if it's 30dB at 1m, then yes, it could be quite loud, but if it's 30dB at 1cm then it could be very quiet indeed.

SilenX make phenomenal claims for their fans, but they measure at over 1m and they only measure specific frequencies.

Have to say it looks stunning! What sort of benefit do you get from lapping the chip? Do you think it was worth the extra effort?

Just checked the specs for that pump, 30-32DB that's hardly quiet, Also where do you store the liquid?

in the tubes?

he's got a fillport.. no requirement for a res.

nice work mate :) I'm half planning a HTPC in a different life and it will obviously be watercooled.. lets see if I can do as well :)

That looks great man, was toying with the idea of watercooling a SG03 for a while but ended up going in totally the other direction and buying a full tower Lian Li to tinker round with my first attempt at watercooling, when the time comes that I need an SFF case, I'll defo look back at this. Thanks

That's a very nice build. :)

I used to run my Shuttle on a Black Ice Stealth, they seem to be reasonable rads, you have good temps, my E6700 seemed to run a bit hotter.

Out of idle curiosity what are the dimensions of fillports? Thinking of replacing my reservoir with one and can't find the dimensions on the 'net.
