They're more for highly special occasions though. The Op hasn't stated so one can assume it's for a normal outing, maybe a job interview/standard formal occasion etc.

Perhaps the Op doesn't even wear suits and just wants something for formal occasions.

Everyone's first suit is usually a black one, don't buy an all black suit

At those prices you could get a tailored suit which would fit better and be of higher quality.

Bit of a hijack but any recommendations for a hard-wearing but nice suit? Bought a lovely one for £200 in September but I work in a school and it's wrecked already

not that nice but when i had to wear a suit for work M&S machine washable ones lasted well

My advice?

Wait until bicester village sale starts!!
I got a Hugo boss suit for £200 reduced from over £600.. It looks stunning.

Only chumps buy at full price high street prices

Big fan of slaters. Really nice staff and great selection.

Dont waste your money on a sub £100 suit though, you can always tell they look cheap.
