I recently bought a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Cooler, it is an excellent cooler and halved the temp on my cooking AMD6400+. Problem is it is so big I can no longer put the side on my CoolerMaster Praetorian Case.

Looking through the cases on OCUK none that I've stumbled across seem big enough, I'm sure I must have missed some.

Could anyone please recommend a case large enough to accommodate the cooler linked in below?

Depends on ure budget and style. Eclipse 62 will fit, most of the larger Lian-Li V series and some of the TJ series. The Antec P180 and 182 i *think* fits, but might wanna check that

Nope, not big enough.

The Praetorian 730 my current case is slightly wider than the Antec 900 and it is not big enough. Both the Praetorian and Antec have 120mm fans in the front, might make you think it is big enough to accommodate a heatsink with a 120mm fan, but the heatsink rises a good inch before the fans is placed on it and this goes on to the motherboard mounted on the back plate.

I don't need a case, I need a square box!

Anyone with this heatsink and a case big enough for it?

Yup - I have a Lian Li V1000 +II and the Thermalright 120 - plenty of clearance.

Will take some phone images for you tonight.

It is wide enough that the V1000's air guiding shroud still has plenty of play.

Your wrong mate.

The P182 fits the Ultra120, as does the 900 and the Lian Li A16 / PC7.

2 of my flatmates have Ultra 120s in P182s, and anothe rmate had one in a A16 (same chassis as the PC7) and moved it to a 900.
The Eclipse will hold one with 2 inches to spare (at a guess)

Good to know, odd as looking at the dimensions my praetorian is wider than the 900, I guess they are measuring the front of the case which has a fancy door...

Still the Lian Li looks good and the 900 seems a bit too cheap for my liking...
