Im considering buying a mac pro , but you obviously don't get a monitor.

The Cinema Displays are extrememly over priced, so what would you go for instead of.

it needs to be at least 22" and a have a great display, as i plan to do graphic design. so it needs to be colour rich etc

any help is appreciated.

22inch = suck

get a 20 inch. the pizel density is far better is far better.

or go for a non dell 24 inch.

Id say for any kind of design work youll really benefit from 2x monitors, 1 for working on and 1 for live preview, or even for other apps.

Lenovo L220x

They're absolutely stunning - only 22" I've seen with 1920x1200. We've had a fair few in at work recently. Finding stock can be a pain however, we've got a preferential arrangement with Lenovo and the lead time is usually 4-6 weeks. :O

Just seen a Dell 22" for £183 inc Vat + Shipping.

The 24 is £369 :(

Bit mad spending nearly 2k on a Mac Pro setup then skimping on a rubbish 22" monitor. Get a Dell 24" so you can run 1920 x 1600 ;)

Nice. But not seeing it for under £200. Don't know about skeeny, but that's my limit.

I'm using a 2407WFPHC, which is great, although the colours are really saturated. I can get a brand new 30" cinema display for £780 (plus sell my dell), anyone think it's worth it?

Right, due to a lack of funds, for the time being at least, i want to use my 22" Samsung HD Tv for the Mac.

Possible? It has HDMI , DVI, VGA.

Not a clue on how the Mac Pro connects to a monitor, ideas?
