Suitable Monitor for a Mac Pro.

Its very possible, i have my iMac connected to my HDTV, what i use is a DVI->HDMI lead which i bought off ebay(iMacs also need a MiniDVI-DVI adapter, but that isnt needed on the Macpro). Macpros use standard PCI-Express gfx cards with normal DVI-D outputs... the only thing stopping you putting any GFX card in there is cards BIOS and driver support.

Keep an eye on the Apple refurb store, currently a previous gen. 8core 3ghz machine for under £1700... and a current Gen. 8core 2.8ghz with 2gb ram for £1500...hmm.. Do i need 3 :p

Yus, I is from Colne, nr Burnley. Dont know about the HE discount and whatnot on the Refurb store.

I dont support anyone... i dont enjoy watching 22 sweaty blokes run about and falling over for no apparent reason, but whatever floats your boat. :)

You can't use discount on the refurb store.

You think they're crazy? ;)

Dell 2005FPW, but they don't make 20" S-IPS displays anymore only the el-cheapo TNs. Need a 24" Dell to get a decent panel now.

You could look into the DGM 24" which is around £200 - £230 price mark, best check the big thread about them in the monitor section of this forum though.
