Summer competition?
Being relatively new to the forums, I'm not aware as to whether or not OcUK has done this before, but, I was thinking how about a gaming competition in the summer hosted by OcUK?

Everyone on here pretty much builds the best PC they can afford anyway, and a lot, if not most people buy some or all of their components from OcUK as well. And most of these rigs are geared towards gaming. So why not put them to use?*

I'd propose a generic game like MW2 be used as it's probably the most popular game and come the summer, if nobody has it on PC they could probably pick up a copy for £20 or so.

Everybody though would be more tempted to play if there was a prize. And who will supply the prize? Well, it'd have to be OcUK. But what benefit would they get out of arranging a tournament and supplying prizes? To answer that, there would have to be a qualifying principle to enter the tournament. Teams would obviously be made up of forum members, but to qualify for entry onto a team roster you should have to buy something from OcUK for a minimum of £20 or so a month prior to the competition. The prize doesn't have to be anything amazing for the wining team, perhaps a few small items that are handy such as some thermal paste, maybe an akasa case exhaust etc. Depends on how much OcUK would be willing to spend and that in turn would depend on how much revenue they make.

This ensures people have a prize to aim for, OcUK get people spending money and a promotional activity which could in the long run get people questioning the competency of their rigs and wanting to upgrade and thus spending more with OcUK in the future.*

An alternative would have course be a team entry fee, with the competition going ahead subject to their being a minimum number of teams entered onto the roster. So say a 5-a-side competition with 3 subs per team and a team entry costing £100. Say you get 16 teams entered that's £1600 on the cards. OcUK could take £400, £200 goes to runners up and £1k to the winning team. *
