Summer Holidays 2007 - Where's Everyone Going?

I'm not sure if 'holiday' is the correct description but I'm cycling to Rome with a few mates leaving in about three weeks time, should be fun

I was supposed to be going on a prolonged holiday to Brazil, but poor family relations across the Atlantic have prevented this.

I just booked my ticket for Portugal - only 8 days though. I'll arrive in Porto and go straight to Lisbon and stay there for 3 days. The rest of the time will be spent with a friend in Braga in the north.

Anyone been to Portugal? Give me your views.
